It’s not only possible; it’s immediately actionable.

It’s good for our students, their future, and their feelings about school.

It’s good for our teachers, their work-life balance, and our teacher retention.

There are a few things I’m struck by today - my last day in the classroom - and while I expected some of these reflections and reactions, some are surprising me.

I’m writing them for myself, to remember, but also for those who may find themselves considering a shift.

Still, being clear and concise is a skill (one I am still working, as you can tell from this explanation) and it’s a skill I want them to know is necessary and absolutely valued.
